LaRosa’s Pizzerias - MVP of the Week Program, Cincinnati, Ohio


Challenge

LaRosa’s Pizzerias, the country’s largest privately owned restaurant chain and a long-time family tradition in the Tri-State area, needed to transition their traditionally newspaper-based "MVP of the Week" high school athletic recognition and Online Hall of Fame programs, whose media costs had become unmanageable, to 100% Internet-based programs.

Solution

HyperDrive developed and launched the www.larosasmvp.com website, which continues to be driven by a weekly permission email marketing program. The website and email marketing also contains banner ads, coupons, and pizzeria specials that LaRosa’s customers can use to order their favorite foods online.

Results

Today, this consumer involvement program is more cost-effective, honors more student-athletes each week, and has more than 15,000 high school sports fans voting for their favorite MVP each week via email ballot.
